Corey, you’re an incredible father to our girls. You bring them alongside of whatever you are doing and make them feel that they always have a spot in your lap whatever you may be doing, wherever you are. You include them in “your world”. I know already they will be daddy’s girls (Oh how my heart knows)! You love them so deeply. You not only tell them that but show it every day through your actions. As always, Corey John- you are by best friend. My companion my co-adventurer in parenting and in this short thing called life. My how the Lord has surely blessed me when he gave me the gift of you. May you continue to walk steadfastly in Him. Set the pace love, as we are in step with you walking in your tracks as you lead our family. The Lord’s hand is on your life. Merry Christmas from the Kalinowskis!!! My how the days have flown by! We have loved our first year and a half as parents and can’t believe how much our girls change each moment. Currently, Edith loves reading books, watching animals, snuggling with mom, and playing with her sister. Evelyn's favorite activity is watching Edith, smiling constantly, sitting up like a big girl, and playing with dad's beard! Corey is approaching his 7th year as Youth Pastor at New Life Church, Princeton. His heart for people has only grown over the years. I am so proud of him! I (Katie) have the privilege to capture special moments in people's lives through our business, KK Studio and Design. I also continue to produce graphics at New Life Church and help serve alongside Corey in the Refuge Youth Ministries. Every day we sense the Lord's presence and faithfulness in our lives. My sweet Evelyn Kimberly is 6 months old. I cannot believe it has already been that long since this picture was taken. My heart is elated at the thought of her continuing to grow, growing up into the woman that God has created her to be. Evelyn, you are precious.

Fall time in Minnesota is seriously the best. The colors. The air. The wind. The crisp coolness. I can’t get enough. I remember you asking if you could carry Edith's pack while shed hunting this past winter. With the biggest smile you said, "Hey! This is kinda like what I'll be doing on the world race this fall!" You claimed it'd be a good way to train. Flash forward to the present... here we are today with you embarking on the biggest journey to date. Liz, we pray you come into a deeper knowledge of who God is through your trip. I am thankful for those @go_rings. What an incredible reminder to pray over you and for you. We miss your big smile. I'd say be safe, but instead hope you are dangerous for the Kingdom, moving mountains and breaking down walls in His name.

Moments like these. It's the moments like these that continue to stir the fire within. I can't express how proud I am of our refuge students.
